This resort was not originally intended as a hotel. It was an organic farm producing food for The Dune (hotel in Pondicherry under the same ownership). But this 100 acre area is so beautiful that it seemed sensible to spread a few cottages around and invite people to come and stay. This is a unique place to stay and if you are more interested in responsible travel than 5 star luxury then it will suit you. The farm is about 20 km from the centre of Kodaikanal and activities include learning about farming in the area, horse riding (they have their own stables), bird watching, walking and trekking.
