SCUBA DIVING >>

Although the water is warm enough and there is plenty of sunlight, there is virtually no coral growth around the mainland of India. This is because of the large numbers of fast flowing rivers that empty into the sea. This leads to poor visibility and is not conducive to good diving or snorkelling. Therefore, if you want to include some diving or snorkelling during your holiday to South India you need to include a visit to the offshore islands (Lakshadweep, Andaman or Maldives).
