Any of our tours could include cookery lessons or
demonstrations (please tell us if you are interested and we
will select suitable accommodation). We have devised a
couple of short tours that could be taken as they are or
incorporated into another tour. The first includes seven
nights in South Kerala and gives you the opportunity to see
Cochin, Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and stay in a homestay.
The second includes Mysore in southern Karnataka and
Wayanad and Tellicherry in Northern Kerala.
Detailed itinerary on request.
CULINARY TOUR OF KERALA
The food traditionally eaten within the home
changes as you travel through Kerala - the different
cultural and religious groups all have their own dishes.
This tour celebrates these differences and allows you the
opportunity to experience the diversity of Kerala cuisine.
This gastronomy tour includes some opportunities to cook
these regional dishes as well as eat them. It also visits
some of the main places of interest (including a visit to a
wildlife sanctuary) so this tour will be of interest to a
wide range of people and not only those who want to learn
more about South Indian food.
