This exclusive resort has accommodation for just a small number of guests. The rooms are called residences and are 200 year old Kerala wooden houses renovated to provide spacious and comfortable living space. Separate accommodation is supplied for your butler. The resort is set on a private an island in the backwaters. The director of Green Lagoon is Klaus Scheusener – well known in Kerala for building and managing the Surya Samudra Beach Resort. As well as the usual facilities you would expect from an exclusive luxury resort, Green Lagoon has a museum of South Indian artefacts including bronzes and stone sculptures. You will see that restaurant is not included in the list of facilities. The cuisine is typically Kerala and the fresh ingredients come from their own garden and farm. You can eat when ever and where ever you like.
