This Neemrana Hotel is one of the oldest colonial buildings in Cochin (dating back to 1506). Le Colonial has a central position, adjacent to St Francis Church, and is said to have accommodated Vasco da Gama. It was also home to the Dutch Governor and a British tea merchant. It is now furnished with antiques and offers a unique Neemrana ‘non-hotel’ experience. This hotel (which has a pool in the small garden) possibly offers the most exclusive option in Cochin.
