The bungalow was built in 1912 and was the workshop and office for the manufacture and export of coir and spices. In 1956 it was bought by Brooke Bond Tea Company to house their top management. The 10 rooms are tastefully designed and are each named after a port in the Indian Ocean that relates to the history of spice and tea trading.
