This is the ancestral home of the Kandath family and the delightful Mr Bhagwaldas is an excellent host. The house was built in 1794 and contains many original features. It is set in a rural village not far from the town of Palakkad and Mr Bhagwaldas himself is often available to show guests around the local area.
