This resort is near a small village called Murinjapuzha,
37 km from Periyar. It is set in a beautiful area
surrounded by mountains and plantations (coffee and
spices). Accommodation is in a small number of
traditionally furnished Kerala cottages. There is a
restaurant and a swimming pool and lots of activities on
offer outside the resort including long walks or short
strolls through the local plantations. For the more
adventurous there are opportunities for rock climbing,
hang gliding etc. With Periyar approximately an hour and
a half away it is also possible to stay here (away from
the cluster of hotels at Thekkady) and visit the
wildlife sanctuary as a day trip. Paradisa Plantation
Retreat was short listed for the World Travel and
Tourism Council’s Tourism for Tomorrow Conservation
