This unusual hotel is situated on the northern (Maharashtra) side of the Tiracol River, which forms part of Goa’s northern border. Access from the rest of Goa is via a ferry that runs regularly throughout the day. Despite the restrictions imposed when trying to convert a fort to a hotel there is nothing austere about the seven rooms here
(including 2 suites). The views across the estuary and along the coast are superb. There is no swimming pool and access to a beach in either Goa or Maharashtra is by car (arranged by the hotel). This hotel is just under an hour from the airport.
