Some of the southern parts of Karnataka can easily be included in a visit to Kerala. Coorg and the wildlife sanctuary of Nagarhole are just over the border and the fascinating city of Mysore is just a bit further on. The closest airports to this area are Bangalore and Calicut and there are good train connections from Mysore to Bangalore and Chennai.
