When we formed Kerala Connections in 1998 we were the only tour operator specialising in the area. Kerala was not as well known then and we found ourselves having to tell people where it was and what it had to offer. We are the pioneers of holidays in Kerala and are now considered to be the UK’s leading specialist of tailor-made holidays to Kerala and South India.

Kerala is now a much sought after destination. Many of the larger tour operators have added it to their portfolios and numerous new companies have cropped up to take advantage of this popular destination. All this popularity has led to many more flights to the state and numerous hotels and resorts being built - but Kerala still retains its charm and the local people remain friendly and pleased to welcome visitors.

Although we started as a Kerala only specialist we now offer tailor-made holidays to the whole of South India and within this website you will find not only descriptions of the places of interest but also a wide range of accommodation. We believe we offer the widest choice of accommodation (including resorts, hotels, houseboats, guesthouses and homestays) in southern India. This means that we are very successful in matching our customers’ requirements (both interests and budget) to create the perfect holiday.

As we have been operating for more than ten years (and been visiting the area for more than 20 years) we believe that it is our local knowledge as well as our personal service and attention to detail that brings our customers back to us year after year. In fact we are proud to say that repeat and recommended customers now make up the largest portion of our clientele.
